The is the finale, took a long time coming but it was a pure romance in the end. We do see a couple finally together (though it is a female harem\love polygon like genre). I would have expected some breadcrumbs leading us to the concrete conclusion of his choice. Each of his options seemed possible, though his final decision felt much less so. Don't get me wrong thoroughly enjoyed it and they did look like they would make a good couple.
Would love to see a continuation of where their lives lead them in the end. But even so I had greatly enjoyed it.

The main story of Go-Toubun no Hanayome~ takes place after Go-Toubun no Hanayome 2, and before Eiga Go-Toubun no Hanayome, thus it is a sequel/prequel respectively. Go-Toubun no Hanayome~ does include flashbacks to events that take place during the first two seasons (Go-Toubun no Hanayome and Go-Toubun no Hanayome 2), that were not shown as such (from a different perspective) during those two seasons (In that sense it is somewhat of a side story to both seasons). However the main storyline takes place between Go-Toubun no Hanayome 2, and before Eiga Go-Toubun no Hanayome, and the flashbacks are only used to progress the main storyline. As such it should be considered a sequel to the second season, and a prequel to the movie Eiga Go-Toubun no Hanayome.

I don't know the show at all, just happend to see the movie. Still a nice watch though if you're into light rom-com setting. Even without any previous knowledge fairly easy to follow.

Entirely predictable in most ways, but still surprising in a few aspects.
I enjoyed the structure a lot, showing the same festival from all perspectives, always cycling back to the beginning. Could have been a disaster, if not for the solid pacing.
Not much to say otherwise, if you liked the series, you'll likely like the ending.
Surprisingly well written, fitting, and predictably wholesome conclusion.

Recommended for fans of the previous seasons obviously (and no one else).
Honestly it was pretty good, but it did not satisfy me all that much, it also felt a little too unrealistic.
