While I find specially appealing anime and OVAS from this era 80's-90's,
I have to admit that this one doesn't do very well against the test of time.
It's not bad, but the idea has been taken so far in more recent productions
that now it looks rather silly.
A classic tale of knight in shining armor rescues "cute" princess, all set against a retro
arcade game background with a little "Battle Royale"* to spice things up.
probably amongst the first ovas to use this last concept, could it be part of the inspiration
for the BR Novel?
