More of the same, but less creative.
The animation is done well, same for the characters. Everything is nice, smooth and feels exactly like the first series.
The music is okay; they mixed the OP-song, which now sounds like a sort of dance/trance mix of the OP from Steel Angel Kurumi 1, which is not too bad, but it won't beat the original. The ED song is done differently, but it's not that catchy though.
The voices are all exactly the same and again, if you can stand the overgenki Kurumi, these voices won't give you any trouble. Perhaps for Kurumi's new master, who seems to be a very clumsy and introvert girl and her voice can be a bit whiny at times.
The story is unoriginal and absent at least. Where Steel Angel Kurumi took place a long time ago, Steel Angel Kurumi 2 takes place in the current time. And although one can't say that it doesn't suit the time, it does look like an uncreative series after seeing SAK 1.
The plot is very, very similar to the first series - although this time they left out the plot itself and tried to stick to a script which focused mainly on the comedy and some shoujo-ai jokes, which is overly visible throughout the entire series. In fact, the absense of any males in the series already shows how much female interaction and love there is.
But although they do follow a certain idea, the plot's never able to be more than just a silly comedy which might just beat a script from an average hentai. And while the story isn't that great, lots of the jokes are repeated, which causes you to get a deja vu-feeling at times.
The characters are done well, but although they got some development in SAK 1, they undergo almost the same thing in SAK 2. Which is funny, considering SAK 2 plays 70 years after SAK 1, in which the angels all still have their memory. The only thing which keeps the series bearable is Kurumi herself, who keeps on fooling around and doing unnecessary things which you've probably seen in SAK 1 already. But all of them are so exactly the same as in SAK 1, that it becomes tiresome.
I don't think this series is worth rewatching, unless you like to see comedy about shoujo-ai between nearly all characters in a series, while there won't happen anything indecent (after all, it's a TV-show).
The jokes are not great and some are even taken from the first series, so if you watch them in a row you'll probably notice them. So if you plan on watching a new anime and thought SAK was only so-so, then don't try this one.
