This second season of Date a Live its a little more interesting, and open the door (i hope) to a future Third season, because as this anime is, (as usual) its incomplete, this anime is not bad either not good, for fans with an inclination toward recommended

I loved it ! This sequel added an interesting plot continuity along with some very colorful and interesting characters to the mix. Fan Service was adequate as well and the comedy quite enjoyable. Nothing to hate in DATE a LIVe II apart from it's sad duration which was incredibly short .. Not even a half season!!! And unfortunately since they announced a movie as a sequel u should expect the usual axe down that happened to many series (SOra no Otoshimono) that would give you a half assed ending after skipping a gazillion chapters from the manga/novel. Still u definitely should watch that if you are a fan of the series! Recommended

The majority of 2nd season focuses on harem as was most of the focus in the previous season. More new characters are introduced but the plot remains status quo from start to finish. If you enjoyed the harem/slapstick aspects from the previous season, this contains tons of it; however, if you're looking for the supernatural element that the 1st season briefly touched on in the earlier episodes, this won't have it. Not much more is added to the plot to this season besides new characters and that's too bad.

Going to rec this as "for fans" its better for those that watched the 1st season. But in fact, I felt S2 is really good and much much better than S1 - its just that you would understand better if you watch S1 first.
Nonetheless, I really like S2. The plot gets really good, in exchange for the more fan service we have on S1. We are introduced we a few new characters and character development is doing pretty well as well.
Give it a try, seriously - you won't be disappointed. Only thing is the rather short 10 episode.
Also I pretty like Izayoi Miku. If you search online you will find some pretty good cosplayers of her too.

If you liked the first season, then this one is better. If you didnt but finished the first season then give this one a try. They do kinda gloss over things they mentioned in the first season but it is still good.

And with that another season of Date a Live is done. If you were a fan of the first season the second season is a must see. More Tohka, more Yoshino and more trouble. Poor Shido...
