Encourage Films was an anime production studio located in Tokyo, Japan.
The founder, president and representative director was former Gonzo producer Ikeda Touyou, who left Gonzo in 2007 to be independent and later created Encourage Films with the aim to produce happy animation for and together with fans, without any restrictions and boundaries, which was also the reason for the company's name. The managing director of the company was animation supervisor and character designer Oizaki Fumitoshi.
The establishment of the company together with Oizaki was announced by Ikeda at the Phoenix Birth Event, related to Kaleido Star: Legend of Phoenix - Layla Hamilton Monogatari, by Loft Plus on August 10, 2008 in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan.
In December 2023, the studio was renamed as Kachigarasu.
