BaBe was a pop duo consisting of Kondou Tomoko (pictured on the left) and Nikaidou Yukari (二階堂ゆかり; pictured on the right). The duo recorded several hits from 1987 till 1990 and was disbanded in 1990 because of Yukari's pregnancy and marriage. Yukari retired from the entertainment industry the same year, while Tomoko continued performing for a while as a solo artist until she also got married and left the show business.
