Softening subs since 2005!

Quality is the primary goal here at CS, so we don't worry much about file size! However, it is unlikely that we will ever release a file bigger than 8.5 GB...

All releases are in MKV with softsubs. Video is either original DVD MPEG-2 stream or H.264 (now the preferred format!)

Audio: we're audiophiles here at CS, so don't expect anything less than the best! This means all audio tracks without exception are original streams (AC3, DTS) with no modifications or recompression. Duplicate tracks in different formats will be eliminated, however. In this case the superior format/bitrate track will be used.

Enjoy our high-quality releases and know that you're getting quality equal and often superior to the original DVD (interlace removal, softsubs) - without the artifacting and detail loss so common in most fansub encodes.

Work Philosophy
