Naruto's story: Twelve years before the start of the series, Kyûbi attacked Konoha village destroying a large part of the village and taking many lives. The leader of the village, the Fourth Hokage, sacrificed his life to seal the demon in a newborn child, Naruto Uzumaki. Orphaned by the attack, Naruto was shunned by the villagers, who, out of fear and anger, regarded him as Kyubi himself. Although the Third Hokage forbade to talk about anything related to Kyûbi, the children - taking example from their parents - inherited the same animosity towards Naruto. In his thirst for recognition, Naruto swore that he would one day become the greatest Hokage the village had ever seen.⛩
