Inspired by 'Hamlet', the work bears inscriptions from the 'To be or not to be' soliloquy and blends references to characters and incidents from the play. It is the second in a series of sculptures designed for the Great Garden near New Place, the site of Shakespeare's former home in Stratford-upon-Avon.
