Addie Dainell Allen was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. Senate from Texas.
Biography
Allen earned her bachelor's degree from Lamar University. She has worked in a number of various positions and works in disaster assistance for the Department of Homeland Security.[1]

Allen ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. Senate, representing Texas. She was defeated by Paul Sadler and Grady Yarbrough in the Democratic primary on May 29, 2012.[2]
