The Alabama County Budget, Amendment 6, also known as Amendment 6, was on the ballot in Alabama on December 10, 1963, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed that the legislature would be authorized to fix, alter, or regulate the costs and charges of county courts and fees, commissions, percentages, allowances, and salaries received by the judge of probate, sheriff, circuit clerk, register of the circuit court, the tax assessor and collector, and other officers of Marshall County.[1]
