Bob Daiber
Bob Daiber (Democratic Party) ran for election for Governor of Illinois. He lost in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2018.
Biography
Daiber earned a degree in education from Eastern Illinois University. His professional experience includes work as the owner of a farm, as a teacher at Triad High School, and as the superintendent of schools for Madison County. Daiber was a member of the Triad Education Association, serving as its president for two years.[1][2]

Daiber was first elected Madison County Superintendent of Schools in 2006. He still held the office at the time he launched his 2018 gubernatorial campaign.[1][2]
