Dominique C. Ross
Dominique C. Ross is a judge for the 5th Subcircuit of the Cook County Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. She assumed office on December 1, 2008. Her current term ends on December 7, 2026.
Ross (Democratic Party) ran for election for judge of the Illinois 1st District Appellate Court. She lost in the Democratic primary on June 28, 2022.
Education
Ross earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, going on to receive her J.D. from the Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.[1]
Career
Ross practiced law for thirteen years prior to her judicial election in 2008. As a private practice attorney she concentrated on domestic relations and family law, handling cases involving custody and division of property.[1]
