Don Chamberlain
Don Chamberlain (b. October 28, 1946) was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 7th Congressional District of Alabama. He was defeated in the general election on November 6, 2012 by incumbent Terri Sewell.[1]
Biography
Chamberlain attended Livingston University from 1966 to 1968. He then served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam in 1968. Chamberlain went on to earn his B.S. in Marketing from the University of Alabama, Tuscalloosa, in 1973. From 1998 to 2000, he was managing director for Interval Incorporated. He then worked as President of Chamberlain Technologies, Incorporated, from 2000 to 2006. From 2006 to 2010, he worked in production support for Power Plant Maintenance, Incorporated.

Chamberlain ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Alabama's 7th District. He defeated Phillip Norris in the Republican primary on March 13 and was defeated by incumbent Terri Sewell in the November 6 general election.[3]
