JoNell Bakke (Democratic Party) was a member of the North Dakota State Senate, representing District 43. She assumed office on December 1, 2018. She left office on December 1, 2022.
Bakke (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the North Dakota State Senate to represent District 43. She lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Bakke is a former Democratic member of the North Dakota State Senate, representing District 43 from 2006 to 2010.
Biography
Bakke earned her B.S. and M.A. in Elementary and Special Education from the University of North Dakota. Bakke's career experience includes working as a special education teacher.[1]

On November 7, 2006, Bakke was elected to the 43rd District Seat in the North Dakota State Senate, besting Duaine Espegard (R).[6] Bakke raised $1,500 for her campaign, while Espegard raised $9,358.[7]
