Our shipping insurance provides protection against the following incidents during transit:

However, claims are not covered if the carrier confirms successful delivery and the customer reports non-receipt.
Claims Process
In the event of a covered incident, customers should promptly contact our Customer Service team to initiate a claim. To expedite the process, please provide:
- Relevant order details (e.g., order number, shipping address)
- Any supporting documentation (e.g., photos of damaged packaging or items)
Exclusions and Limitations
- Coverage Limits: Shipping insurance covers up to the greater of the order value.
- Excluded Items: Promotional items if out of stock items are not covered under shipping insurance.
- We may deny coverage if a pattern of fraud is detected or we perceive an unusually amount of losses or theft.
Customer Notification
Details about shipping insurance, including these terms and conditions, are provided on our website and included in the email confirmation when customers purchase the insurance option. We encourage customers to review this information carefully.
Resolution
We reserve the right to accept or deny shipping insurance claims at our discretion. In the event of a dispute, the following steps will apply:
- Initial Resolution: Customers should contact our Customer Service team to seek an amicable resolution.
- Mediation: If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to non-binding mediation in California, following the procedures of Arts Arbitration and Mediation Services, a program of California Lawyers for the Arts.
- Arbitration: If mediation does not resolve the dispute, it will be settled by binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator, and their decision will be final and binding, with judgment entered in a court with proper jurisdiction.
- Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Orders are processed Monday through Friday and can take between 24 and 96 hours depending on seasonal volume and in-stock items. Please note: Special and Limited Edition products can cause large spikes in order volumes that can delay order processing. Orders placed Friday after 10 A.M. will most likely ship out the following Monday or Tuesday, depending on volume.
A shipping confirmation and tracking number will be e-mailed to you once your package has been shipped. Please allow 24 hours for your tracking number to update once it has been created. Bésame Cosmetics is not responsible for any custom duties, brokerage fees, taxes, and/or tariffs that may be applied to your shipment due to local regulations.
Bésame Cosmetics reserves the right to change the shipping method at any time and will clearly post changes should they occur.

Select the expedited shipping option at checkout for rush delivery. However, due to the time the order is placed, it may NOT reach you within that desired time. Also please keep in mind expedited or rush shipping services will shorten travel time once your package has left our fulfillment center, and will not push your order to the first of the processing line. Order are processed in the order received.

RETURN POLICY:
We understand that shopping online for makeup can be a difficult task. Many makeup companies do not offer the ability to return items, but we want to do our best to help you find the best fit for you. If you are unhappy with your order and wish to submit a return request, we offer 30 days from the date of purchase to submit a request for refunds, exchanges, or store credits on our core products.
You can make your request by logging into our site here via the email associated with your order. When placing your Return request, please indicate in the Notes section whether you would like a refund, store credit or exchange. If you would like to exchange your item, please list the product you would like instead.
In most cases, we will not require the return of products to request a refund, exchange, or store credit for your order. In special cases with which we do require items be sent back to us, we will provide you a return label via email.
Limited edition and licensed items are final sale items and are excluded from return options, except in the case of damages. For any and all damaged orders, orders missing items, or orders with incorrect items, we do request photos of the order for our records.
Refund return requests will include a processing fee taken from the refund amount and original shipping costs are not included in your refund. Refunds can only be returned to the original payment method.
Store Credit return requests will be sent to you via digital gift card. The credit value includes only the value of the requested return products. Original shipping costs are excluded.
Exchange return requests can only be made once. Should you be unhappy with the exchange product you’ve selected, we unfortunately cannot approve another exchange, offer a store credit, or refund the original product purchased.
Since we are no longer requiring products be sent back to us, we do have the ability to accept or reject your return requests. If we observe a pattern of behavior in your order/return history suggesting an abuse of our offerings, we will reject your request and may suspend your ability to make purchases on our site.
Due to the time and cost associated with international shipping, we unfortunately are not able to offer returns/exchanges for non-domestic orders.

CANCELLATION:
Each order's cancellation window is dependent on if we have begun the process of fulfilling the order. You may be able to cancel or edit your order through your account page. That option will appear next to your order info if it is available. If you need to change an address and that option is not available, please reach out to customer service.
