God's Commands

² He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world. ³ This is how we are sure that we have come to know Him: by keeping His commands. ⁴ The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” yet doesn"t keep His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Keep His Commandments

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands.

If you keep My commands you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commands and remain in His love.

1 John 4:13

This is how we know that we remain in Him and He in us: He has given assurance to us from His Spirit.

For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands. Now His commands are not a burden,
