Let two or three prophets speak [as inspired by the Holy Spirit], while the rest pay attention and weigh carefully what is said.
wherefore, brethren, zealously exercise the gift of prophecy, and don't prohibit those that speak in an unknown language.
Therefore whether I or those, in this way we preached, and in this way you believed.
Now if Christ is preached that he is raised from among the dead, how say some among you that there is not a resurrection of those that are dead?
But if there is not a resurrection of those that are dead, neither is Christ raised:
And we are found also false witnesses of God; for we have witnessed concerning God that he raised the Christ, whom he has not raised if indeed those that are dead are not raised.
For if those that are dead are not raised, neither is Christ raised;
Then indeed also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
(But now Christ is raised from among the dead, first-fruits of those fallen asleep.
For since by man came death, by man also resurrection of those that are dead.
But each in his own rank: the first-fruits, Christ; then those that are the Christ's at his coming.
For his rule will go on till he has put all those who are against him under his feet.
Since what shall the baptised for the dead do if those that are dead rise not at all? why also are they baptised for them?
If, to speak after the manner of man, I have fought with beasts in Ephesus, what is the profit to me if those that are dead do not rise? let us eat and drink; for to-morrow we die.
There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the splendor of those in heaven is of one kind, and that of those on earth is of another.
Such as he made of dust, such also those made of dust; and such as the heavenly one, such also the heavenly ones.
As we have borne the image of those made of dust, let's also bear the image of the heavenly.

And I have written this very letter to you, that coming I may not have grief from those from whom I ought to have joy; trusting in you all that my joy is that of you all.
But if anyone has hurt anybody's feelings, it is not so much mine, as yours, or at least those of some of you, not to be too hard upon you all.
For we are a sweet odour of Christ to God, in the saved and in those that perish:
to those on the one hand an odor from death to death, [and] to those on the other hand a fragrance from life to life. And who [is] qualified for these [things]?

Do not keep company with those who have not faith: for what is there in common between righteousness and evil, or between light and dark?
What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial? or what can those who accept the Faith have in common with those who reject it?
Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
For it is not, so that ease is for others and stress for you, but out of parity your abundance at the present time is for the need of those men.
But so that things may be equal; that from those things of which you have more than enough at the present time their need may be helped, and that if you are in any need they may be a help to you in the same way, making things equal.
As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow-worker on your behalf. As for our brothers [i.e., those who will accompany him], they are the messengers of the churches and an honor to Christ.
For I have before made clear to those of Macedonia my pride in your ready mind, saying to them that Achaia has been ready for a year back; and a great number have been moved to do the same by your example.

But as in those days he who had birth after the flesh was cruel to him who had birth after the Spirit, even so it is now.
Those of you who are trying to be justified by the Law have been cut off from the Messiah. You have fallen away from grace.
But, brothers, if I were still preaching [that a person had] to be circumcised, why am I being persecuted? [Note: Paul's argument seems to be "I must not be preaching circumcision since I am being persecuted by those who believe in it"]. [If I preached that a person had to be circumcised] then my preaching that Christ died on the cross would not be such an offense [to those who believe in it].
I wish that those who are troubling you [by teaching that circumcision is necessary for salvation] would even [go all the way and] castrate themselves!
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these things are opposed one to the other, that ye should not do those things which ye desire;
Now those things done by the sinful, physical nature [of a person] are evident; they are these: sexual immorality, moral impurity, indecent conduct,
envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revellings, and such like, of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that those doing such things the reign of God shall not inherit.
gentleness, self-control: ??there is no law against those who practise such things.
