Beloved, believe not every spirit; but prove the spirits, whether they are from God: for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
But I fear lest, as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity which pertains to Christ.
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, trans forming themselves into the apostles of Christ; and no wonder, for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
