Verily I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God, as a little child, shall in no way enter into it.
At that time Jesus answered and said: I thank thee, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes.
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said: I thank thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes; even so, Father, for so it seemed good in thy sight.
For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise men according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble call you; but God has chosen the foolish things of the world, that he may bring to shame the wise; and the weak things of the world has God chosen, that he may put to shame the strong; and the ignoble things of the world, and the things that are despised, has God chosen, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nought things that are;read more.

And Jesus called a little child to him, and placed him in the midst of them, and said: Verily I say to you, Unless you turn and become as little children, you can not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever, therefore, humbles himself as this little child, is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.read more.
And whoever receives one such little child on my account, receives me;
And he took a little child, and placed it in the midst of them; and when he had taken it in his arms, he said to them: Whoever will receive one of such children on my account, receives me; and whoever will receive me, receives not me, but him that sent me.
But Jesus perceived the thought of their heart, and he took a little child, and made it stand by him, and said to them: Whoever will receive this little child on my account, receives me; and whoever will receive me, receives him that sent me. For he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
He that receives you, receives me: and he that receives me, receives him that sent me. He that receives a prophet be cause he is a prophet, shall receive a prophet's reward: and he that receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man, shall receive a righteous man's reward. And whoever will give one of these little ones only a cup of cold water to drink, because he is a disciple, verily I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.
For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink on this account, because you are Christ s, verily I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.
Take heed that you despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, That their angels in heaven do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.
Brethren, be not children in understanding: yet, in malice, be childlike; but, in understanding, be full-grown men.
as new-born babes, earnestly desire the pure spiritual milk, that you may grow by it, if; indeed, you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
