For LORD thy God brings thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey, a land in which thou shall eat bread without scarceness. Thou shall not lack anything in it, a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou may dig copper.
Iron is taken out of the earth, and copper is molten out of the stone. [Man] sets an end to darkness, and searches out to the furthest bound the stones of obscurity and of thick darkness.
