Among all things living, man hath the most deceitful and unsearchable heart. Who shall then know it?
"Have I kept secret my sin, and hid mine iniquity as Adam did? For if I had feared any great multitude of people, or if I had been despised of the simple; Oh then should I have been afraid. Thus have I quietly spent my life, and not gone out at the door.
For there is no faithfulness in their mouths; they dissemble in their hearts. Their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
O pluck me not away, neither destroy me with the ungodly and wicked doers, which speak friendly to their neighbours, but imagine mischief in their hearts.
Their device is only how to put him out, whom God will exalt; their delight is in lies. They give good words with their mouth, but curse with their heart. Selah.
he is ever imagining mischief and frowardness in his heart, and causeth discord.

Venomous lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross. An enemy dissembleth with his lips, and in the mean season he imagineth mischief; but when he speaketh fair, believe him not, for there are seven abominations in his heart.
The keeping of dust, and foolishness of heart hath turned them aside: so that none of them can have a free conscience to think, "Do not I err?"
Nevertheless, as for thine eyes and thine heart, they look upon covetousness, to shed innocent blood, and to do wrong and violence.'"
But the evil men and deceivers, shall wax worse and worse, while they deceive, and are deceived themselves.
