But a certain Samaritan, as he was journeying, came where he was, and when he saw him, had compassion, and went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine, and setting him on his own beast, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And the next day, he took out two denaries and gave them to the host, and said, Take care of him; and whatever thou spendest more, I, when I come back, will repay thee. Which of these three, dost thou think, was neighbor to him that fell among the robbers? And he said, He that took pity on him. Then said Jesus to him, Go, and do thou likewise.
In respect to this I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me; and he said to me, My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather boast in my weaknesses, that the strength of Christ may abide upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Is any sick among you? let him call to him the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
And it happened that the father of Publius was lying sick with a fever and dysentery; to whom Paul went in, and, when he had prayed, laid his hands on him, and healed him.
In respect to this I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me;
Lord, have compassion on my son; for he is a lunatic, and is sorely afflicted; for he often falleth into the fire, and often into the water.

And Jesus answering said, Were not the ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Were there none found returning to give glory to God but this foreigner? And he said to him, Rise and go; thy faith hath made thee well.
for he that eateth and drinketh eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, if he do not discern the body. For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and some are falling asleep.
And lo! they brought to him a man that was palsied, lying on a bed. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the palsied man, Be of good cheer, son; thy sins are forgiven.
And lo! men brought on a bed a man that was palsied; and they endeavored to bring him in, and to set him before him.
