As a man, going away, leaving his own house, and giving authority to his servants, and to each one his work, and commanded the porter that he should watch.

To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear His voice: and he calls His own sheep by name, and leads them out.

And Peter stood without at the door. Then the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, came out and spoke to the porter, and led in Peter. And then the maidservant porter says to Peter, Art thou not one of the disciples of this man? He says, I am not.
