Not slothful in business, servent in spirit, serving the Lord:

So ye also, seeing ye desire spiritual gifts, seek to abound in them, to the edifying of the church.

Now it is good to be zealous in a good thing always, and not only while I am present with you.

Wherefore I put thee in remembrance, to stir up the gift of God which is in thee, by the laying on of my hands.

Yea I think it right, so long as I am in this tabernacle to stir you up by reminding you:

Whomsoever I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous and repent.

and shew what great things God hath done for thee. And he went and published through the whole city, how great things Jesus had done for him.

This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and being fervent in spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of Jesus, knowing only the baptism of John.
