and so were also James and John the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon And Jesus said to Simon, Fear not; henceforth thou shalt catch men. And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything, and followed him.
One of the two who heard what John said, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peters brother. He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith to him, We have found the Messiah; (which is, when interpreted, the Christ.) He brought him to Jesus. The Lord is not tardy concerning his promise, as some men count tardiness; but is longsuffering toward you, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
