Give a discrete man but an occasion, and he will be the wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase.

A wise heart laboureth for knowledge; and a prudent ear seeketh understanding.

But thou which teachest another, teachest not thyself. Thou preachest, a man should not steal: and yet thou stealest.
