Follow me as I do Christ.

Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus:

For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

For those which he knew before, he also ordained before, that they should be like fashioned unto the shape of his son, that he might be the first begotten son among many brethren.

And the very same, made some Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, some Shepherds, some Teachers: that the saints might have all things necessary to work and minister withal, to the edifying of the body of Christ, till we, everyone - in the unity of faith, and knowledge of the son of God - grow up unto a perfect man, after the measure of age which is of the fullness of Christ:

Yea I think all things but loss for that excellent knowledge's sake of Christ Jesus my Lord. For whom I have counted all thing loss, and do judge them but dung, that I might win Christ, and might be found in him, not having mine own righteousness which is of the law: But that which springeth of the faith which is in Christ. I mean, the righteousness which cometh of God through faith in knowing him, and the virtue of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his passions, that I might be conformable unto his death,read more.

He that saith he bideth in him, ought to walk even as he walked.

But we all behold the glory of the Lord with his face open, and we are changed unto the same similitude, from glory to glory, even of the spirit of the Lord.

For they that are carnal, are carnally minded; But they that are spiritual are spiritually minded. To be carnally minded is death; But to be spiritually minded is life, and peace: because that the fleshly mind is enmity against God: For it is not obedient to the law of God, neither can be.read more.
So then, they that are given to the flesh, cannot please God. But ye are not given to the flesh; But to the spirit: If so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. If there be any man that hath not the spirit of Christ, the same is none of his.

But the fruit of the spirit is: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance. Against such there is no law.

And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord: and received the word in much affliction, with joy of the holy ghost:

It is enough for the disciple to be as his Master is, and that the servant be as his Lord is. If they have called the Lord of the house Beelzebub: how much more shall they call them of his household so?

The disciple is not above his master. Every man shall be perfect, even as his master is.

And it chanced, as he went in the way, a certain man said unto him, "I will follow thee whithersoever thou go." Jesus said unto him, "Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests: but the son of man hath not whereon to lay his head." And he said unto another, "Follow me." The day following, Jesus would go into Galilee, and found Philip, and said unto him, "Follow me."

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

If any man minister unto me, let him follow me: and where I am, there shall also my minister be. And if any man minister unto me, him will my father honour.

If ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love: even as I have kept my father's commandments, and abide in his love.

And he called the people unto him, with his disciples also, and said unto them, "Whosoever will follow me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it. But whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

Jesus then said to his disciples. "If any man will follow me, let him forsake himself, and take up his cross and follow me.

And he said to them all, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross on him daily, and follow me. Whosoever will save his life, shall lose it. And whosoever shall lose his life, for my sake, the same shall save it.

For hereunto verily were ye called, for Christ also suffered for us: leaving us an example that ye should follow his steps, which did no sin, neither was there guile found in his mouth: which when he was reviled, reviled not again: when he suffered, he threatened not: but committed the cause to him that judgeth righteously,

And he that taketh not his cross and followeth me, is not meet for me.

"If a man come to me, and hate not his father and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, moreover and his own life, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever bear not his cross, and come after me cannot be my disciple.

That spake he signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had said thus, he said to him, "Follow me."

Forasmuch as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he which suffereth in the flesh ceaseth from sin,

It shall not be so among you: But whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister, and whosoever will be chief, let him be your servant. Even as the son of man came, not to be ministered unto, but to minister: and to give his life for the redemption of many."

So shall it not be among you: but whosoever of you will be great among you, shall be your minister. And whosoever will be chief, shall be servant unto all. For even the son of man came, not to be ministered unto: but to minister, and to give his life for the redemption of many."

Take my yoke on you, and learn of me; for I am meek, and lowly of heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

And he sat down, and called the twelve unto him, and said to them, "If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant unto all."

And there was a strife among them, which of them should be taken for the greatest. And he said unto them, "The kings of the gentiles reign over them; And they that bear rule over them, are called gracious Lords. But ye shall not be so. But he that is greatest among you, shall be as the youngest: And he that is chief, shall be as the minister.

If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet: ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

and that no man consider his own, but what is mete for others. Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus:

This is my commandment: that ye love together as I have loved you.

Hereby are we assured of love: because he left his life for us: And therefore we ought also to give our lives for our brethren.

A new commandment give I unto you: that ye love together: as I have loved you, that even so ye love one another.

This command I you, that ye love together.
