And they made ready the present against Joseph should come at noon: for they heard that they should eat bread there.
Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread, the disciples came to Jesus, saying to him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover? And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say to him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples. And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.

And he sendeth two of his disciples, and saith to them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him. And wherever he shall go in, say ye to the master of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guest-chamber, where I may eat the passover with my disciples?read more.
And he will show you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us. And his disciples went, and came into the city, and found as he had said to them: and they made ready the passover.
And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare for us the passover, that we may eat. And they said to him, Where wilt thou that we prepare? And he said to them, Behold, when ye have entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth.read more.

And now, when the evening was come, (because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath)
The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath, (for that sabbath was a great day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
There they laid Jesus therefore, because of the Jews' preparation-day, for the sepulcher was nigh at hand.
And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith to the Jews, Behold your King!
Now the next day that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together to Pilate,
But God said to him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be which thou hast provided?
And will not rather say to him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drank; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you provisions; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.
Again, he sent other servants, saying, Tell them who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage.
And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
Then he saith to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they who were invited were not worthy.
And sent his servant at supper-time, to say to them that were invited, Come, for all things are now ready.
Provideth her provisions in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
