For as many of you as have been baptised into Christ, have been invested with Christ.

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath life eternal: and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh truly is meat, and my blood truly is drink. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, abideth in me, and I in him. As the life-giving Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father; so he that eateth me, the same shall live by me. This is the bread which came down from heaven, not as the manna your fathers did eat, and died: he that eateth this bread shall live to eternity.
Do ye not know, that as many as have been baptised into Christ Jesus have been baptised into his death? We have been buried therefore with him by baptism into death: that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so also we should walk in newness of life.
And now why delay? arise, to be baptised, and wash away thy sins, calling upon the name of the Lord.

The antitype to which baptism now saveth us (not the mere removal of filth from the flesh, but the engagement of a good conscience to God), by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, abideth in me, and I in him.

in whom also ye have been circumcised with the circumcision not made with hands, by the putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, through the circumcision of Christ: buried with him in baptism, in which also ye have been raised up together with him by faith, the energy of God, who raised him from the dead.
And he said unto them, With earnest desire have I longed to eat this passover with you before I suffer: for I tell you, that I will no more ever eat of it, until it shall be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new mass, as ye are unleavened. For our passover hath been sacrificed for us, even Christ.
