But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father, who seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him, and great multitudes came together, to hear and to be healed by him of their infirmities. But he withdrew into the deserts and prayed.
And in those days he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in the prayer of God.
And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the multitude sought him, and came to him, and detained him, that he might not depart from them.
And he said to them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while. For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
And having sent the multitude away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray.
And the apostles gather themselves together to Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught.
And going a little farther, he fell on his face and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; yet not as I will, but as thou wilt.
And in the morning, rising a great while before day, he went out and departed into a desert place and prayed there.
And straightway he constrained his disciples to go into the boat, and go before to the other side toward Bethsaida, while he sent away the people. And having sent them away, he went to a mountain to pray.
I John, your brother and companion in the affliction, and in the kingdom, and patience of Jesus, was in the island Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus.

Neither did I go up to Jerusalem, to them that were apostles before me, but I immediately went into Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.
