Because thou sayest, I am rich, and have gotten wealth, and have need of nothing, and knowest not that thou art the wretched and the pitiable one, and poor, and blind, and naked,

Now my righteous man shall live by faith; but if he draw back, my soul hath no pleasure in him." But we are not of those who draw back, unto perdition; but of those who believe, to the saving of the soul.

Charge those who are rich in this world that they be not highminded, nor place their hope in uncertain riches, but in God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good,

And he said, This will I do; I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I store all my crops and my goods; and I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast many goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, be merry. But God said to him, Fool! this night will thy soul he required of thee; and whose will those things be which thou hast laid up?
