So that every one of us shall give an account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, not to lay a stumbling-block or scandal before a brother. I know and have been taught by the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself: only to him that thinketh any thing unclean, to him it is unclean. But if thy brother be grieved by thy food, thou dost not herein walk in love. Do not by thy food destroy him, for whom Christ died.
But to me it is of very small moment to be judged by you, or by any man's judgement; nor indeed do I judge myself: (for I am conscious to myself of nothing; though I am not hereby justified;) but He that judgeth me is the Lord. Wherefore judge nothing before the time; even until the Lord come, who will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every one have praise from God.
