but wrath and anger to those who live in selfish ambition and do not obey the truth but follow unrighteousness.

"'Sure to be judged is the king who builds his palace using injustice and treats people unfairly while adding its upper rooms. He makes his countrymen work for him for nothing. He does not pay them for their labor.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth by their unrighteousness,

and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will destroy by the breath of his mouth and wipe out by the manifestation of his arrival. Consequently God sends on them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false. And so all of them who have not believed the truth but have delighted in evil will be condemned.

So they proclaim that the Lord, my protector, is just and never unfair.

All unrighteousness is sin, but there is sin not resulting in death.
