For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we are not of the night or of darkness.

But, since we belong to the day, let us be sober, and put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in quarreling and jealousy.

we must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day. Night is coming, when no one can work.
