Abstain from every form of evil.

But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints.

It is right not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that makes your brother stumble.

Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anyone.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Give no offense either to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, just as I try to please all men in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved.
