For surely there is an end; and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

But if we hope for what we see not, then with patience we wait for it.

The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God, and our Savior Jesus Christ;

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:

But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the expiration of the breath.
