But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

He will be like a juniper in the Arabah;he cannot see when good comesbut dwells in the parched places in the wilderness,in a salt land where no one lives.

Flee! Save your lives!Be like a juniper bush in the wilderness.

Wail, O juniper, for [the] cedar has fallen, for [the] magnificent [trees] are ruined! Wail, oaks of Bashan, for the impenetrable forest has come down!
