'Nose' in the Bible

Then I asked her, and said, ‘Whose daughter are you?’ And she said, ‘The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor’s son, whom Milcah bore to him’; and I put the ring on her nose, and the bracelets on her wrists.

‘Because of your raging against Me,And because your arrogance has come up to My ears,Therefore I will put My hook in your nose,And My bridle in your lips,And I will turn you back by the way which you came.

“Can anyone capture him when he is on watch,With barbs can anyone pierce his nose?

“Can you put a rope in his noseOr pierce his jaw with a hook?

For the churning of milk produces butter,And pressing the nose brings forth blood;So the churning of anger produces strife.

“Your neck is like a tower of ivory,Your eyes like the pools in HeshbonBy the gate of Bath-rabbim;Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon,Which faces toward Damascus.

He said to me, “Do you see this, son of man? Is it too light a thing for the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they have committed here, that they have filled the land with violence and provoked Me repeatedly? For behold, they are putting the twig to their nose.

I will set My jealousy against you, that they may deal with you in wrath. They will remove your nose and your ears; and your survivors will fall by the sword. They will take your sons and your daughters; and your survivors will be consumed by the fire.
