'Promiscuously' in the Bible

“Who among all these does not recognize [in all these things that good and evil are randomly scattered throughout nature and human life]That the hand of the Lord has done this,

who acted like prostitutes in Egypt, behaving promiscuously in their youth. Their breasts were fondled there, and their virgin nipples caressed.

My people consult their wooden idols,and their divining rods inform them.For a spirit of promiscuity leads them astray;they act promiscuouslyin disobedience to their God.

They sacrifice on the mountaintops,and they burn offerings on the hills,and under oaks, poplars, and terebinths,because their shade is pleasant.And so your daughters act promiscuouslyand your daughters-in-law commit adultery.

I will not punish your daughterswhen they act promiscuouslyor your daughters-in-lawwhen they commit adultery,for the men themselves go off with prostitutesand make sacrifices with cult prostitutes.People without discernment are doomed.

Israel, if you act promiscuously,don’t let Judah become guilty!Do not go to Gilgalor make a pilgrimage to Beth-aven,and do not swear an oath: As the Lord lives!

I know Ephraim,and Israel is not hidden from Me.For now, Ephraim,you have acted promiscuously;Israel is defiled.

Israel, do not rejoice jubilantly as the nations do,for you have acted promiscuously, leaving your God.You have loved the wages of a prostituteon every grain-threshing floor.
