'Requests' in the Bible
And Yahweh gave the people favor in the eyes of [the] Egyptians, and they granted [their] requests, and they plundered [the] Egyptians.
When you returned, you wept before the Lord, but He didn’t listen to your requests or pay attention to you.
Listen to the requests from your servant and from your people Israel as they pray in this direction, listen from the place where you reside in heaven, then hear and forgive.
then hear their prayer and requests in heaven, where you reside, and fight for their cause,
Do this so your eyes may remain open to the requests of your servant and to the requests of your people's prayers, to listen to them whenever they call out to you,

And he gives us all our requests, because we keep his laws and do the things which are pleasing in his eyes.
And if we know that he listens to our requests, we can be sure that we have what we ask him for.
