'Resist' in the Bible

"You won't have power to resist your enemies. You'll perish among the nations and the land of your enemies will consume you.

He devises iniquity on his bed and is determined to follow a path that is not good. He does not resist evil.

If someone attacks one of them, the two of them together will resist. Furthermore, the tri-braided cord is not soon broken.

The yoke of my sins was bound on, fastened together by his hand. They settled on my neck; he caused my strength to fail. The LORD placed me in the power of those I cannot resist.

Resist him and be firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.
