'Slack' in the Bible
And Joshua said to the {Israelites}, "{How long} [will] you be slack about going to take possession of the land that Yahweh, the God of your ancestors, has given you?
A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent enriches.
Even he who is slack in his work, he is brother to a master of destruction.
Therefore all hands will grow slack, and every human heart will melt,
