উইকিপ্রকল্প জীবনী মূলত ব্যক্তি সম্পর্কিত নিবন্ধ তৈরি, উন্নয়ন এবং সংগঠন বিষয়ে মনোযোগ দিয়ে থাকে। এতে শুধু ব্যক্তি বিষয়ের নিবন্ধ যুক্ত করা হয়, কোন প্রতিষ্ঠান বা দল বা সংঘের নিবন্ধ নয়। এছাড়া এতে শুধু বাস্তবিক মানুষের জীবনী যুক্ত হয়; ফলে এই প্রকল্পে কোন অন্য প্রাণী বা কাল্পনিক ব্যক্তি (যেমন ছদ্মনাম) বা কাল্পনিক চরিত্র যুক্ত করা হয় না।
