Drew was awesome! Great at communicating and really brought our concept to life. He listened to what we wanted and brought his own ideas and vision (and fun) in. We were lucky enough to see him paint the mural, it was a special process to witness. Our boys are very lucky to have such a magical masterpiece in their backyard. So grateful we found him.

Matthew is a DREAM!! He made me feel so cozy and comfy when sitting for him, and for about half an hour we got to know each other well, all while he effortlessly multitasked by sketching - so talented! And at the end of it all I got to go home with a truly beautiful work of art :)

Omg I have no words to say about the mural clad done for me. He is the most pleasant talented young guy and I’m so glad he did my mural. It beyond excellent . He tidy up after he finishes he kind and thoughtful about your property . I will definitely be hiring him again and anyone looking to have a mural done he the guy for you. Book An Artist's mission is to leave no stone unturned and no blank space unpainted. Our crew of talented mural artists for hire are ready to create and paint your custom art piece. Connect with an artist and colour the world around you.

What should I say when I message an artist?
Once you find an artist whose style you like, send them a message with your commission details. This should include the size, and a photo of the space you would like painted. If you would like a painting done on paper or canvas, please discuss this with the artist. Explain if you would like a design from their Book An Artist profile, an adaptation of one of their designs or explain to them your own design idea.
What happens after I've messaged an artist?
The artist can ask some more questions and confirm details with you including design, size, the date you would like the work done and then finalise the price and confirm the order. Use our messaging service to discuss details with the artist and ask questions. We've designed our platform to incorporate the whole commission process to make it as simple as possible.
How does the pricing work?
Each artist has their daily rate published on their profile. Once the artist knows the details of the commission, they will confirm how many days they will need to complete your commission. Some other details such as if any special materials are required, changes in the design etc. can affect the final price.
When do I pay?
Once the artist confirms details of your order including design, size and the date you would like the work done, you will be able to proceed with payment. Your order is confirmed once payment has been made. Your payment sits in a secure escrow account and is not transferred to the artist until the artwork is finished. If you don't want to make the complete payment upfront, please contact us at [email protected] and we can help.
What happens if something doesn't go to plan?
You will have 5 days after the artwork is finished to raise any concerns regarding the artwork. We will refund you in full if there are any legitimate issues with the artwork.
How is my payment processed?
Your payment is processed securely using Stripe secure payment gateway.
What will happen on the agreed commission day for a mural in my home or business?
On the agreed day the artist will arrive with all their materials. Please make sure you're there to give them access to the building. It is your responsibility to make sure the wall is accessible to the artist. This means making sure furniture etc. is out of the way and they have a clear workspace. If you have any questions about specifics, please contact the artist you have commissioned. We recommend keeping windows open and keeping the room as ventilated as possible until the work is completed and dry. Drying times depend on what materials the artist is using. They will let you know how best to look after your new artwork.
