Fobos (mitologija)

Vjerovatno Fobos i Ares u Aresovim kolima (510-530 p. n. e.).

Fob ili Fobos, Phobos (grč. Φόϐος, Phóbos = strah) personifikacija je straha i užasa, a zajedno sa svojim bratom Dimom (Deimos) vjerna pratnja svome ocu, bogu Aresu. Fobos (starogrčki: Φόβος Obojica su Aresovi i Afroditini sinovi.

Asaph Hall, koji je otkrio dva Marsova asteroida, nazvao ih je prema Aresovim sinovima - Deimos (Dim) i Fobos (Fob).
