Blueberry Points (Japanese: ブルーベリーポイント Blueberry Point), or BP, are a form of currency exclusive to Blueberry Academy. They were introduced in The Indigo Disk expansion of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet as part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC.

In the games

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the player can earn BP at Blueberry Academy by completing Blueberry Quests (BBQs), or as a reward issued by guidance counselors at rest areas for defeating a certain number of Trainers in each of the Terarium's four biomes.

BP can only be spent at Blueberry Academy. It can be used to purchase items at the school store, to contribute to various school clubs or invite guests from Paldea via the computer in the League Club Room, to make items with the Item Printer, or to gain entrance to the Elite Trials.

Blueberry Quests

For every ten Bluberry Quests the player completes, a bonus quest is unlocked, with significantly higher BP rewards than normal. Any normal or bonus quest may be cancelled and replaced with a new quest at the cost of 10 BP for normal quests, and 50 BP for bonus quests.

Trivia

  • Blueberry Points being called BP for short in Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese references the short form of Battle Points (BP) from previous games. However, this parallel does not exist in French, German, Italian, and Spanish, where the acronyms are different between Blueberry Points and Battle Points.
