CONROY, Iowa (CBS2/FOX28) — The National Weather Service has rated a tornado that touched down near Conroy as an EF-1 tornado.
The tornado touched down with peak winds of 105 miles per hour with a maximum width of 60 yards just before 6 p.m. Tuesday night.
The NWS says the tornado traveled 4.6 miles starting in Williamsburg, ending in South Amana.
Two houses sustained damage to windows and siding. One farm outbuilding was partially destroyed, while another lost part of its roof.
