A couple days ago another detonation in Luhansk, Ukraine has been recorded. Sounded almost like a beat. I transformed it into one. (Yes, this is morbid. But we all know, who could stop this war whenever he wants and GTF out of Ukraine with his troops.)

From there on, I decided to make this a full song. As a counter part for all the heavy and growling loudness that must be there, I did use some Ukulele from Kara Square’s song “To be sensitive”. Here an excerpt from here vocals - which I did not use. But I can hear them in my head.

Now they say that I’m too sensitive
That I care too much how others feel
They say that I should just be a man
And I wish that I could
But I’m haunted every day
By the men who hold us back
Lock us in this path
Of dominance, war, hate
And I see how it could be
If they could just try
To be sensitive.
To be sensitive.

The song describes on one hand the horror on the battlefields: The ongoing explosions and the rattling of everything. On the other hand, there is the soft shimmer of hope. The silence between the explosions. Life just happening. (Yes, that’s what the Uke is being used for). But as soon as hope arises, the battle and the terror against civilists starts again. (Not that soldiers are keen of beeing shot at…)

I don’t know, if the song transports all this. But that’s what I wanted to express.
