Torque Droidz Atom S Review

Torque is one of the many phone brands present in the Philippines offering affordable Android touch screen phones and tablets. They've been operating since 2008 and has already established a market and name when it comes to affordable devices. Unknown to many, buying affordable devices doesn't mean that you are purchasing a substandard product. It might be true for some but, for others like Torque, they are just offering affordable working products.

Misfit Shine: The Most Stylish Fitness Tracker

Sometimes, the only thing that stops us from exercising is the challenge of waking up in the morning. As we all know, the amount of sleep required by the average person is five minutes more. Funny but true, although exercising itself is beneficial and should be motivation enough, we sometimes need that extra push to be motivated.

Melt SwitchEasy Case for iPhone 5/ 5S

I'm a fan of two opposite color themes -- neon and camouflage. Everyone around me knows this and in fact, my brother just laughed at me because I asked our contractor to paint a small part (side fence) of our upcoming office, snow camo color. I hope it will look good as I am imagining it. Well, this case fills my other favorite -- high visibility neon orange case from SwitchEasy.

Brand Used: Personal Audio Device Collection Review (Divoom, Apple, JBL, tJays, Skull Candy, Banshee, etc)

Without even noticing, I just realized the other day that I have a lot of audio accessories/ speakers. I didn't buy all of them as some were given as gifts, tokens and some purchased. I get to use them in different situations but some of them are just there for display now, not because they're not working, but because I find some more convenient than the other.

Because I want to feature them here in my blog, let me do a different kind of review. Most reviews that come out are usually items that are brand new. Given that, of course, the condition is still pristine and near perfect so some flaws won't appear until you use it for a period of time. I've thought of this for some time now so readers can really see how something really works as some gadgets when brand new works well but fails to work the same way after a few uses. From now on, everything I review that is not brand new will be titled, "brand used". I'll just try to mention how long I've used it so people can expect the condition of the device after a period of time. To put things into perspective, I don't abuse "laspag" my items. Consider it normal usage and wear and tear.

Fobo Max Wireless Tag - Personal Belonging Watcher Plus GPS Locator

Last year when I wrote about the Fobo Tag, a lot of people inquired through email and personal message about it. Most of the questions ranged from how to charge the device to how can it locate someone via GPS. If you want, you can first visit my other review before reading this one as I won't be repeating some of the information detailed there. Here's the first Fobo Tag review: http://cheftonio.blogspot.com/2013/09/FOBO-wireless-tag-features-review.html

How do You Choose the Right Air Purifier?

When it's about the kids, it's a normal instinct for parents to be more protective. Just recently, my husband and I invested in an air purification system even before our little one is born. Living in a very busy and polluted Metro Manila, not only do we want a better quality of environment for him, but also for us parents too.

Visit our article at Pharenting.com- Choosing the Right Purifier for You to know more details in choosing the right air purifier for you.

Transcend WiFi SD Review and Setup

Last week, I was browsing through Instagram and saw someone post about this. I've been hearing about Eye-Fi before but it was the first time I heard one from Transcend. Curious, I immediately checked out videos and searched the internet for more information about this product. After 5 minutes, I scanned through TipidPC and Sulit for this. After a few exchange of messages, I ordered one! Got it for P2,300 plus they agreed to meet me at the location of my choice!

Car DVR Captures Taxi vs BMW accident

Earlier today, I was driving in QC when I witnessed an accident take place. I have installed a Thinkware FXD700 car DVR and so everything was recorded. I wanted to offer the foreign national (driving the BMW) my car DVR footage but I was already late for a meeting. Anyway, if you would need the video or if anyone of you knows the owner of the car and needs a video footage as evidence, here's the video uploaded on Youtube.

Thinkware FXD700 Car DVR: How The Shock Sensor Works

A month ago, I got myself a Thinkware FXD700 and here's my review about it (Review). So far, I'm really enjoying using this nifty device. Other than the main purpose of documentation and evidence recording, you also get to upload interesting clips making your daily drive more interesting than the usual. Thinkware FXD700 Car Camera Review

It's been a month since I've started using the Thinkware FXD700. Prior to that, I've been in search for the best car DVR a.k.a. automotive blackbox available. Yes, there are a lot of varieties available in shops out there but what I need is something that will work and something that is actually useful as evidence when I need it.

Here, I will show you here why you need an in-dash car camera and why the Thinkware FXD700 is a good investment.

Cause of EDSA Traffic Caught on Car DVR

Every time I pass EDSA and I see the cause of traffic, I always say, "One day, I'll do a video recording of it and show people what the cause of traffic is". And you know what, that day has come! Last Sunday where EDSA should be traffic free because it's a Sunday and not much road repairs are being done, traveling along EDSA should be a breeze. You can easily run from 50-80km/h unlike weekdays where running around 20km/h would be a miracle.

Upon reaching Guadalupe southbound, there was already a build up. It went on until after the Guadalupe church and it was very unusual for a Sunday. Lo and behold. I finally caught on video the cause of the traffic.

Everytime. If it's not because of buses, it's because of jeepneys. I wonder when they will start being disciplined. They stop whenever and wherever they want. They have yellow bus lanes but still overtake each other. Crash after crash, accidents after accidents, these drivers do not care about their passengers. Just about how much their take home money will be. That's understandable but being in the public transport business, it shouldn't be that way. Would you ride another bus or jeep thinking it'll be your last ride? No right?

Another footage I want to capture is one of those abusive ASBU (Anti-smoke belching units) famous in Makati. It's so funny how they flag down private vehicles whose cars doesn't belch out black smoke but let those buses and jeep freely run with thick black smoke coming out from their mufflers. Kalokohan talaga. This is also one of the causes of traffic.

This video is captured using a Thinkware FXD700 from Uncharted Corp. Check out my blog for the review of it soon!

Thinkware FXD700 Car DVR (Unboxing)

With a lot of modus and not-so-honest people lurking around this Christmas season, it is but just right to report them. What makes it hard is the documentation part because you won't be recording what you see 24-hours a day, right? Well, now you can while driving. A lot of car DVRs are available in the market but it's hard to find the one that will actually work when you need it and what extra features that are crucial to have. (It will also be useful in other scenarios, fyi)

Just recently, the guys from Uncharted Corp (distributor) was kind enough to lend me a review unit of their highend car DVR called the Thinkware FXD700. Basically, it works like a CCTV camera but for cars and sort of work like those used by police in the US (dash cam). It also acts as a car black box.

Smart LTE Pocket Wifi Review

LTE has been the must-have nowadays when talking about mobile internet connectivity. Currently, phones that can connect to the LTE network has a premium price tag attached to it. On the average, popular branded phones with LTE costs more than 20,000 and those not so branded like ZTE (don't confuse it with LTE) costs around 13-17k.

Thule Perspektiv Messenger Bag Review [with Detailed Photos]

I'm a bag person and sometimes, it can be difficult to find a bag that looks good and is functional at the same time. Unlike majority of the female population, they buy bags as their accessories to match their outfit. Me, I don't care if I use the same bag over and over as long as it serves me well and looks good.
